Godfrey Oboabona Starts Training Again With Rizespor

Nigeria international Godfrey Oboabona has recovered from a knee complaint which made him sit out the last five matches contested by Rizespor in all competitions.

The central defender underwent an operation at Sports Athlete Acibadem Health Center in Fulya before the Christmas holidays.

“I am okay now and I have resumed training with Rizespor since Saturday,” Godfrey Oboabona briefly told allnigeriasoccer.com.

The 24 - year - old suited up 8 times in the Super Lig before his spell on the sidelines.

His contract with Rizespor will run out at the end of the 2016 - 2017 campaign.
