Uche Nwofor On Target As Lierse Share The Spoils With Waasland-Beveren
Published: January 25, 2015Super Eagles striker Uche Nwofor netted his second goal of the season in his second start for Lierse, who shared the spoils with Waasland-Beveren in the Pro League.
The 24 - year - old’s goal came in the 13th minute, before Renaud Emond equalized for the visitors just before the hour mark.
It is worthy to note that the former VVV Venlo man started and completed a game in the top - tier for the first time this season in the colours of Lierse.
Since joining the club in September, Uche Nwofor has recorded nine appearances in the division, and opened his goalscoring account for De Pallieters against Westerlo on December 13, 2014.
On match day 23, Lierse will entertain Standard Liege at the Herman Vanderpoortenstadion (Lier).
