Official : Yakubu Aiyegbeni Pens Five - Month Reading Deal
Published: February 02, 2015Through a press release, Reading have announced the capture of free agent Yakubu Aiyegbeni, 32.
A product of Okomu Oil, the attacker has signed a five - month deal that will keep him at the Madejski Stadium until the end of the 2014 - 2015 season.
Shortly after the Nigeria international was unveiled, manager Steve Clarke told the official website : “I know all about him as a player and I have heard very good reports about him as a personality in the dressing room.
“He is no-risk signing for us and I look forward to him scoring goals for Reading Football Club.”
For the remainder of the season, Aiyegbeni will sport the number 20 kit.
