Former 3SC Coach, Zico Joins Frenage Academy
Published: February 13, 2015Former Shooting Stars Coach, Tunde Odubola, popularly known as Zico has joined the services of the high-rising Ibadan based soccer school, Frenage Soccer Academy as head coach.
The former Eaglets assistant coach according to a statement issued by management of the academy would be working with along with Oladapo James, former gaffer with a nationwide side, Ajiroba FC of Ife as assistant coach and Ayodele Ademola Ewi-Ife, formerly West African scout with X3 Sports Management of United kingdom as the Team Manager.
Odubola who would be officially unveiled to the public this week by the foremost academy expressed his delight and satisfaction with challenges associated with his new task, saying he would be glad to repeat what he has done while with Red Bull Academy in Ghana before coming back home to join 3SC.
“The structure I met here is a commendable one and I would be glad to contribute my own quota to the development of grassroots football, especially in Nigeria, teaching basics is what I love most in football”, Zico noted.
Meanwhile the academy has resumed into new 2015/2016 academic calendar, with introduction of new package tagged ‘Frenage Weekend Soccer Classic’, the programme that allows parents to bring their talented kids from the ages of 6 to 13 for a weekend soccer tutorials, commencing from Friday to Sunday.
