Emmanuel Emenike Praying To End Six - Month Goal Drought
Published: February 20, 2015Emmanuel Emenike has expressed dissatisfaction over his goal drought at the Å�ükrü SaracoÄ�lu Stadyumu.
And the Nigeria international has every reason to be concerned, having last scored at home in the 3 - 2 win over Karbukspor on August 31, 2014.
However, the 27 - year - old is dreaming of ending that dismal run next Monday when Fenerbahce welcome Akhisar Belediyespor to Kadıköy district in Istanbul.
“Scoring in our home, I miss so much sharing the joy of a goal. I will work hard to overcome my misfortune,”Fanatik quoted Emenike as saying in Turkish.
In his first season at The Yellow Canaries, the former Spartak Moscow star scored 6 goals in front of his own supporters.
