Qormi Star Alfred Effiong Makes 200th Premier League Appearance
Published: March 07, 2015Maltese - Nigerian attacker Alfred Effiong has reached an important milestone in his career, having made his 200th appearance in the Malta Premier League, as Qormi defeated Mosta 3 - 1.
Only last October, the 30 - year - old, who has played in Malta since 2005, scored his 100th goal in the Premier League.
He has added three goals to that tally, scoring in games against Tarxien Rainbows, Hibernians and Valletta.
If Effiong scores 54 more goals in the league, he will beat the current goal record in all the divisions.
