Elderson Echiejile Starts From The Bench For Monaco Versus Arsenal
Published: March 17, 2015
Elderson Echiejile has been omitted from the starting lineup for Monaco’s Champions League clash against Arsenal, which begins less than 45 minutes from now.
France international left - back Layvin Kurzawa returns to the squad after playing the last eight minutes of the first leg tie held at The Emirates three weeks ago due to fitness concerns.
And what that means is that Echiejile will begin the game against the English opponents from the bench.
The Nigeria international has managed to make two appearances in the Champions League this term, lasting 90 minutes in each of the games.
Elderson Echiejile was an unused substitute last Friday in the Ligue 1 tie against Bastia ( 3 - 0 )
Starting Eleven Monaco : Subasic, Fabinho, Wallace, Abdennour, Kurzawa, Toulalan, Moutinho, Kondogbia, Dirar, Martial, Berbatov
Starting Eleven Arsenal : Ospina, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Welbeck, Ozil, Alexis, Giroud
