Uganda To Face Nigeria In Uyo On March 25
Published: March 19, 2015
The Super Eagles will square off against Uganda in an international friendly in Uyo during the Fifa free window on March 25, both Jairo Pachon, NFF’s FIFA match agent, and the Nigerian Federation have confirmed.
The Cranes of Uganda have replaced South Americans Bolivia , who pulled out of a friendly with Nigeria at the eleventh hour.
“We certainly will have time to deal with the Bolivia matter in a few days, but our concentration has been on getting a replacement for them so that the FIFA window we had booked would not go away like that.
“Their excuses do not hold any water. But we have spoken to our lawyers and will approach FIFA on the matter. However, we are happy to have been able to secure a team with even higher ranking than Bolivia,” Jairo Pachon said to thenff.com.
Four days after the clash against Uganda, three - time African champions Nigeria will trade tackles with South Africa in another exhibition game.
