Lillestrom Striker Fred Friday Ready For Tippeligaen Start
Published: March 19, 2015Lillestrom forward Fred Friday is eagerly looking forward to the start of the Norwegian Tippeligaen, with The Canaries taking on 2013 champions Strømsgodset in their opening fixture.
Based on their pre - season friendlies, the Olympic National Team invitee is of the opinion that LSK are well prepared for their first official game of the season at the Arasen Stadium.
“We are ready for the start of the league next weekend. Pre- season has been going well, I have been working hard just to be ready for the start of the season.
“I am hoping to score a lot of goals for Lillestrom this season, that is my target. As for the club’s target, I think we can qualify for the Europa League.
“Innocent Bonke is coping at LSK. We are really close but we don’t stay together, ” said Fred Friday to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 19 - year - old scored 3 goals in 16 outings in the topflight during the 2014 campaign.
Fred Friday joined The Canaries from Bujoc Academy Lagos in August 2013.
