Published: March 23, 2015
The major talking point at the Åükrü SaracoÄlu Stadium on Sunday night when Fenerbahce clashed with Istanbul rivals Besiktas was not the Yellow Canaries struggling to snatch all three points thanks to a late goal from Moussa Sow.
Instead, the best or is it worst moment of the game was Emmanuel Emenike asking to be substituted in the first half after he was insulted by Fenerbahce fans.
Fenerbahce fans were not impressed with the Nigeria international and he had to storm off the field in protest after manager Ismail Kartal refused to replace him.
But the coach and administrative manager Hasan Cetinkaya manged to convince him to return to the pitch before he was substituted at the start of the second half.
