Published: March 24, 2015
Reading’s Hope Akpan has hilariously disclosed that he has arrived in Nigeria for the Super Eagles exhibition game with Uganda on Wednesday.
The central midfielder was in Lagos late on Monday, and will now have to connect a flight to Uyo, venue of the international friendly.
It appears the Liverpool born lad is not used to the busy traffic in Lagos, but he saw the funny side of it nonetheless.
“You know you’ve arrived in Lagos when traffic is bumper to bumper everywhere, ” said Hope Akpan on Twitter.
All things being equal, the 23 - year - old will train with his international colleagues for the first time since mid - November later today.
