Confident Wilfred Ndidi Joins Flying Eagles In Germany
Published: May 11, 2015Racing Genk defender Wilfred Ndidi arrived the Flying Eagles training camp in Germany on Monday brimming with confidence.
The 18 - year - old has echoed the words of skipper Musa Mohammed, saying the Nigeria Under 20s can win the tournament in New Zealand , having crashed out in the second round two years back.
“We reached the second round two years ago and now we want to be U20 world champions in New Zealand,” Wilfred Ndidi said to thenff.com.
“The confidence in the team is very high. Now we will fight and win together.”
Ndidi has suited up 6 times in the Belgian Pro League, chalking up 350 minutes of game time in the process.
