Ahmed Musa and his CSKA Moscow are still battling to secure a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League despite their 4 - 0 humiliation of city rivals Spartak Moscow in the Premier League on Sunday.
The fact is that Kuban Krasnodar will be one of Russia’s representatives in the showpiece event if they win their remaining three matches, starting from this evening’s game against Torpedo Moscow.
In front of 40, 455 spectators, Ahmed Musa worked 90 minutes in attack as CSKA Moscow secured a win against Spartak Moscow at the Otkrytie Arena .
The Nigeria international was on target for the Muscovites in the 64th minute, his first goal in the Premier League since March.
Ahmed Musa had spent 874 minutes on the pitch before ending his goal drought against CSKA Moscow’s fierce rivals.
