Nosa Igiebor Wins Third Trophy In Israel
Published: May 18, 2015Super Eagles midfielder Nosa Igiebor has won the Israeli Premier League title with Maccabi Tel Aviv with two rounds to spare.
In the 34th round of matches in the Championship, The Yellows defeated Ironi Kiryat Shmona 2 - 1 to win their third successive title.
Igiebor will become a double champion with Maccabi Tel Aviv if they win the State Cup final on Wednesday against Hapoel Beer Sheva.
But the Nigeria international will not feature in that game as he is suspended after picking up a yellow card a week ago in the 1 - 1 draw with The Camels.
All the trophies won by Nosa Igiebor since moving to Europe have been with Israeli teams - Toto Cup Ligat Al with Maccabi Tel Aviv plus the State Cup in his last season with Hapoel Tel Aviv
