Kelechi Iheanacho bagged a brace as Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad defeated rivals Manchester United 3 - 1 at the Academy Stadium in the Under 21 Premier League.

Fletcher gave the visitors the lead two minutes from the interval before the Nigeria youth international restored parity in the 55th minute.

For the first time in the game, The Citizens took the lead in the 66th minute through Angelino before Iheanacho netted the insurance goal ten minutes from time.

From all indications, the 18 - year - old will not make his official Premier League debut tomorrow against Southampton, having  featured for the Man City’s U21 side on Saturday.

In addition, tournament organizer, Fifa, has booked him on a flight that will leave England for New Zealand on Sunday.
