Liverpool Dazzler Asisat Oshola And Portsmouth Striker Umotong Named To Nigeria World Cup Roster

The squad list announced on Thursday by the official website of the Nigeria Football Federation is made up of 3 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 4 midfielders and 9 strikers.
There are 9 foreign - based professional players set to represent Nigeria at the prestigious tourney including newly crowned BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, Perpetua Nkwocha (Clemensnas IF, Sweden) and Ini-Abasi Umotong (Portsmouth Ladies, England).
Goalkeeper Precious Dede and veteran striker Perpetua Nkwocha will be donning the colours of the African champions for the fourth successive World Cup.
Nigeria play Sweden, Australia and USA in Group D at the 7th FIFA Women’s World Cup, with their first match against Sweden in Winnipeg on Monday, 8th June
