North Korea Coach Admits Saviour Godwin Quick - fire Brace Demoralized His Team
Published: June 04, 2015
North Korea U20s coach, An Ye Gun, has stated that Saviour Godwin’s quick - fire brace early in the second half deflated his team’s confidence after proving their mettle in the first stanza against the African champions.
In his post match comments, he said : “In the second half we conceded the goal too quickly and too easily, so our players spirits dropped.
“The experiences we are going to gain in this tournament is a good opportunity for our development in my country, so we are preparing to do our best in the match.
“ I would give more opportunities for the players so that they can gain more experience.”
North Korea have lost their first two games in New Zealand, conceding 9 goals in the process. They face Brazil on Sunday.
