Published: June 07, 2015
Guangzhou R&F striker Aaron Samuel has finally arrived the Super Eagles camp at Bolton White Hotels and Apartments in Abuja and took part in the workout on Sunday morning ahead of the national team’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.
Samuel, who turned 21 years on Thursday, was granted permission to arrive later than the rest of the foreign - based professionals due to commitments with his Chinese Super League club.
Speaking on the game against Chad next weekend, Samuel told thenff.com : “I don’t think any of these teams are easy because it’s football.
“You don’t know who they are or where they come from. I think the Chad game we will take it very important to get a victory in every game we play.
“Chad and Egypt they are coming to win, it’s going to be difficult so we just have to be ready and fight very hard.”
The Shooting Stars product has scored two goals for the Super Eagles since he debuted against Sudan last October.
