Courtney Dike To Wear Number 10 Jersey; Portsmouth Star Umotong Gets Falcons Number 11 Shirt
Published: June 08, 2015The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the shirt numbers that the Super Falcons players will wear during the 2015 Fifa Women’s World Cup.
So much weight will be on the shoulders of United States - based striker Courtney Dike as she has been handed the number ten jersey worn with pride by Mercy Akide in previous editions of the tournament.
Liverpool striker Oshoala will be wearing the number 8 shirt while Peppe Nkwocha has received the number 4 kit made popular back home by Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu.
Goalkeeper Dede will spot the number 1 jersey while fellow shot - stoppers Whyte and Ohiaeriakwu have been given number 16 and 21 respectively.
Portsmouth striker Iniabasi Umotong will be number 11 for the African champions during the tournament.
