Rivers Angels TM Tasks Falcons On Australia Match
Published: June 10, 2015
Rivers Angels team manager Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha has tasked the Super Falcons of Nigeria to dig deep and record a win against Australia on Friday in the second Group D match of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
The Edwin Okon tutored ladies were resolute as they grabbed a 3-3 draw in their first match in the Group of Death against Sweden and must record a victory against the Aussies.
Nigeria will probably earn their place in the round of 16 with a victory.
“The girls showed great spirit in a game they weren’t given the chance to pick a point,” the highly respected administrator said.
“They shouldn’t loose focus and keep the winning spirit and mentality. They need to support each other. Now is the time to stay strong and be united.”
“We should go all out in the clash against Australia. We just have to stay focused.”
