Published: June 11, 2015
Nigeria attacker Francisca Ordega is not resting on her laurels after her 87th minute goal on Monday morning gave the Super Falcons a point against Sweden in both countries World Cup opener.
The youngster is confident the Falcons will defeat Australia on Friday night and qualify for the last 16 of the tournament even before their final Group D fixture against USA.
“Australia are a good side and play good football, coupled with experience but I believe we will come out victorious on Friday,” Francisca Ordega said to thenff.com.
“Nigerians should expect more goals from me because I want Nigerians to be happy. ”
The Nigeria number 17 added : “My goal before coming for the World Cup is to score goals for my team and I believe I am working towards it.
“Come Friday, Nigerians should expect victory, nothing short of three points.”
