Eseosa Aigbogun On Target As Switzerland Thrash Ecuador

FC Basel sensation Eseosa Aigbogun was in action for Switzerland on Friday as the Europeans thrashed Ecuador 10 - 1 in Vancouver.
The 22 - year - old was named in the starting line - up for the first time at the Fifa Women’s World Cup after she came off the bench in the 1 - 0 loss to Japan on Monday.
And she repaid the confidence of manager Martina Voss-Tecklenburg by scoring two minutes into first - half stoppage time.
Both Fabienne Humm and Ramona Bachmann bagged a hat - trick for the Swiss Ladies in the second half.
Eseosa Aigbogun , whose dad is a Nigerian pastor that emigrated to Switzerland, starred for the Swiss Under 20s before she made her senior debut.
