Nwankwo Kanu Congratulates Super Eagles Over Win Against Chad

Former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu has congratulated the Super Eagles and the technical crew for beginning their African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign on a winning note.
The 2015 African champions were frustrated by the tactics of Chad in the first half before they turned things around in the second stanza.
Gbolahan Salami netted in the 63rd minute before Odion Ighalo made sure of the three points with his first international goal ten minutes from time.
“Thanks for all your prayers and support. Nigeria 2-0 chad. Well done boys and congratulations to Keshi and the team.Good start so keep it up,” said Nwankwo Kanu on microblogging website, Twitter.
The Super Eagles, who provisionally top the Group G standings, will face Tanzania next in an away match on the weekend of September 4 - 6.
