Senglea Athletic Striker Augustine Obaje Nominated For Best Player Award

The Malta Football Association, MFA, has announced the list of nominees for the 2015 MFA Awards.
Only one Nigerian player is in the running to win an accolade at the awards ceremony on Friday in the shape of Augustine James Obaje.
The Senglea Athletic FC striker will have to see off competition from Muda Fagbeja (Gharghur) and teammate Thomas Timothy to win the BOV Second Division Best Player award.
The 28 - year - old Obaje notched 13 goals in the 2014 - 2015 campaign, which assisted Senglea Athletic to a third - place finish.
The former Union Bank player previously represented Galdar , San Andrés y Sauces, U D Norte in Spain before joining Valletta in the summer of 2013.
