Obafemi Martins Nominated For 2015 Best MLS Player

Seattle Sounders striker Obafemi Martins has been nominated for the prestigious 2015 ESPYS award for the Best MLS Player.
The other nominees on the four - man shortlist are Bradley Wright-Phillips (Red Bull), Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution) and Robbie Keane (LA Galaxy).
Martins netted 17 goals (13 assists) last term, helping Seattle Sounders win the US Open Cup title and Supporters’ Shield.
The 30 - year - old was nominated for the MVP award in the MLS last season but eventually lost out to Robbie Keane.
The winner of the accolade will be announced during a gala ceremony on July 15.
