Exclusive : Dad Confirms Liverpool Are Interested In Barcelona Superkid, Bobby Adekanye
Published: June 30, 2015Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm reports in the foreign press that English Premier League club Liverpool are on the brink of a deal for Barcelona winger Bobby Adekanye.
Ademola Adekanye, Bobby’s dad, has revealed that he is in talks with The Reds and it is expected that there won’t be any conflict during negotiations.
“It is true that Liverpool are interested in Bobby Adekanye, I am about to have a meeting now, ” said Ademola Adekanye to allnigeriasoccer.com.
For the time being, Bobby Adekanye is temporary on the books of PSV Eindhoven until December 2015.
He was allowed to leave Barcelona last year after Fifa sanctioned the club for violating the regulations on international transfers and registration of foreign players under the age of 18.
The 16 - year - old Adekanye remains eligible to wear Nigeria’s colours even though he has played for Holland Under 16s.
