Inter Turku Midfielder Vincent Onovo Out For Two Weeks With Minor Knee Injury
Published: July 03, 2015Inter Turku midfielder Vincent Onovo has revealed that he will spend a minimum of two weeks on the sidelines after picking up a knee injury in his side’s3 - 0 defeat of champions HJK Helsinki on Monday.
The 19 - year - old is already on the road to recovery as his rehabilitation is going according to plan.
“I will be out of action for two weeks. Against HJK, I jumped for the ball and landed awkwardly, ” said Vincent Onovo to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“It is a knee injury, I am doing some exercises with the bike now.”
Onovo will definitely miss the game against VPS on Sunday but may return to the pitch when Inter Turku face Mariehamn on July 13.
He has notched 8 goals across all competitions in the 2015 campaign.
