Rasheed Olabiyi Makes MLS Debut For Houston Dynamo
Published: July 11, 2015Ex Enyimba midfielder Rasheed Olabiyi made his first career appearance in Major League Soccer for his new team Houston Dynamo on Saturday in their 2 - 0 win against San Jose Earthquakes.
Wearing the number 20 jersey, the ex Nigeria youth international replaced Alexander Lopez 11 minutes from time at Avaya Stadium.
Ricardo Clark gave Houston Dynamo a tenth minute lead and Will Bruin made sure the three points were safe with a second goal two minutes after Rasheed Olabiyi was introduced.
Olabiyi is expected to make his home debut for the Texas based side on July 26 when they take on LA Galaxy in the MLS at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Houston Dynamo had not won on the road for exactly two months before the game against San Jose Earthquakes.
