In their last friendly before the start of the Russian Premier League, CSKA Moscow beat Krylya Sovetov 2 - 0.
The good news for the Army Men is that Ahmed Musa has hit top form ahead of next Saturday’s game against Rubin Kazan after scoring for the second consecutive pre - season match.
The Nigeria national - teamer opened scoring for CSKA Moscow in the 13th minute before Bebras Natcho added a second seven minutes before the interval.
Ahmed Musa made way for Sweden youngster Strandberg in the 63rd minute.
The capital team won their last two friendlies after suffering defeats in their first two games of the pre - season against Fakel and Tosno.
