Tornio Pallo-47 Defender Jonathan Dunyin Issues Come And Get Me Plea To Samson Siasia
Published: July 21, 2015Finnish - based Nigerian- born player Jonathan Dunyin has expressed optimism on the abilities of the National U-23 team (Dream Team VI) to overcome their Congolese counterpart in the second leg qualifying round match of the Rio 2016 Olympic games.
He however appealed to Coach Samson Siasia to give him the opportunity to make the difference in the defence line.
Speaking from his Tornio, Finland base on Tuesday, the former Zamfara United central defender said he has all it takes to make the difference in the Dream Team VI defense line.
“We would have to appreciate the good job the coaches are doing in that team. The country is blessed with high quality of players who are scattered all over the World.
“With the quality of players in that team that played against Congo last weekend, there is no way the Congolese can eliminate us in the return leg.
“All the Coaches need to do is just to fortify the defense line, and that solves the problem.”
Continuing, the former NAF of Abuja player said “that is where I should come in. I have all it takes to make the difference in the team. I can play effectively as a defensive midfielder and central defender.
“I play very well with both legs, and has good ball control, huge frame that is good for any defender, good dribbling abilities, and uses the head very well.
“I only appeal that I be given the opportunity to exhibit my qualities in the team. I will want to be part of the success story of the team.” the Tornion Pallo-47 player said.
