Sunday Oliseh To Run The Rule Over Kingsley Sokari, Gbolahan Salami And Solomon Kwambe At Super Eagles Get - together
Published: August 07, 2015Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh has selected 23 players based in the domestic championship for a national team get - together ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania.
The former Juventus midfielder was appointed coach of the 2013 African champions after the sacking of Stephen Keshi and his first matchwill be against Tanzania on September 5.
Among the players selected are three of the big stars in the Under 23 team, Kingsley Sokari (Enyimba), Usman Mohammed (Taraba) and Etebo Oghenekaro (Warri Wolves).
As well as those youngsters, a number of players with experience will be observed at close quarters during the get - together, including Solomon Kwambe, Chima Akas, Nelson Ogbonnaya and Gbolahan Salami.
Flying Eagles midfielder Ifeanyi Mathew was also included in the roster.
Enyimba, Warri Wolves and Sunshine Stars have contributed the most players to the squad list, (four each) announced on Friday morning.
