Olarenwaju Kayode Laments Loss To Rapid Vienna In Wiener Derby
Austria Vienna striker Olarenwaju Kayode has expressed his disappointment over the 5 - 2 loss to Rapid Vienna in the Wiener derby on Wednesday night, adding that the opponents did not give him any breathing space.

The former Flying Eagles star did not take kindly to the rough tackles by the Rapid Vienna defenders and was cautioned five minutes out of intermission after complaining to referee Markus Hameter.

“I can’t really say what contributed to the loss, we were not connecting, ” said  Olarenwaju Kayode to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“They kept hitting me on my legs and the referee saw all of it and did nothing, I only complained and he gave me a yellow card.”

Next up for Austria Vienna and their number eight is an away game in the Bundsliga against Mattersburg, who are just one spot below them in the standings.

“We will keep fighting till the end until we get a result, ” Kayode concluded.

The former Nigeria youth  - teamer has been named in the starting line-up in all the four games played by Austria Vienna in the Bundesliga.
