Uche Ikpeazu returned to haunt his old club as he netted for Port Vale in their 3 - 0 thrashing of Doncaster Rovers in League One on Saturday.

The Watford loanee, who spent a part of last season on loan at Keepmoat Stadium, scored immediately after the interval to give The Valiants a two - goal lead, with Sam Foley scoring the opener in the 35th minute.

This is the first time in Ikpeazu’s professional career that he has managed to score in consecutive league games, having opened his goalscoring account for Port Vale last weekend in their 2 - 2 draw against Swindon Town.

In League Two, Carlisle United were forced to settle for a 1 -  1 draw against AFC Wimbledon at Brunton Park .

Experienced striker Jabo Ibehre rescued a point for the home team with his fifth goal of the season in the 67th minute.
