Monaco Defender Elderson Echiejile Disappointed With Champions League Exit
Elderson Echiejile was disappointed that Monaco have been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League after losing 4 -3 on aggregate to Valencia on Tuesday.

Therefore, the left back’s goal 15 minutes from time was in vain, with the Principality side failing to score a third that would have taken the game to extra time.

The 27 - year - old Echiejile scored for the first time in the competition since hitting target in the 76th minute in Sporting Braga’s 3 - 0 win over Celtic on July 28, 2010.

Painful to have missed out of the champions league in such a way. We will repay your faith.... , ” Echiejile posted on Twitter.

Elderson Echiejile has scored 4 goals in European competitions since he debuted in September 2008 in Rennes 2 - 1 win over Twente in the Europa League.
