Russian Federation Summon Fegor Ogude To Meeting Over Red Card
Fegor Ogude has landed in hot water following his dismissal against Rostov in the last round of matches in the Russian Premier League.

According to championat.com, the defensive midfielder has been invited to a meeting by the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union to explain the circumstances that led to him being sent off.

The referee that officiated the game at Stadion Olimp 2 (Rostov-na-Donu), Aleksey Matyunin, was also summoned as well as a representative of Rostov.

This is the second time this season that the Russian Federation will review a case involving a Nigeria international.

It would be recalled that Lukman Haruna was suspended for two games by the RFU for for insulting referee Vladislav Bezborodov after Anzhi Makhachkala’s 3 - 2 loss to Dinamo Moscow.

Fegor Ogude received a straight red card after 58 minutes in his team’s 1 - 0 loss to Rostov on Friday.
