Manchester City Omit Kelechi Iheanacho From Champions League Roster
Published: September 02, 2015English Premier League vice - champions Manchester City have submitted their squad list for the group phase of the Champions League to UEFA without including Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Nigeria youth international was axed as The Citizens had exhausted their 17 - man foreign quota out of the 25 players named to the A List.
Iheanacho is not eligible to make the supplementary list of players, or the so-called Player List B, as he has not spent the last two seasons with Man City, given that his move to The Citizens was authorized in February by the Home Office.
The 18 - year - old made his debut for the Etihad outfit in their last game before the international break.
