Lyngby Forward Oke Akpoveta Not Resting On His Laurels
Published: September 08, 2015Oke Akpoveta, 23, has vowed to fire Lyngby to the Danish SuperLiga at the end of the 2015 - 16 season.
At the moment, the ex Brondby forward is not lacking confidence and would have bagged a hat - trick in last weekend’s clash against Vejle if his third goal was not disallowed by referee Benjamin Leander.
“It feels good to get three points, and of course I am very happy for the two goals. Before the game, we agreed that we wanted the three points and we got it, so we are happy,” Oke Akpoveta told Lyngby TV.
“I hope that I can continue in this way. It’s all about hard work and stay focused. So hopefully the goals too, and help the team in the Super League. It is the goal. ”
The forward joined Lyngby this summer after terminating his contract with Brønshøj following their demotion to the third - tier.
