Bartholomew Ogbeche Bags Brace As Cambuur Are Knocked Out By PSV In KNVB Cup

Despite the heroics of former Nigeria international Bartholomew Ogbeche, SC Cambuur have been knocked out of the KNVB Cup after they lost to Eredivisie powerhouse PSV Eindhoven at the Philips Stadium on Tuesday night.
Going into the intermission, Cambuur were two goals behind, with Locadia (16th) and an own goal from Heerings scoring for the home team.
On 66 minutes, Ogbeche reduced the deficit with a beautiful strike, then, netted from the penalty spot three minutes later to make it 2 - 2 but 12 minutes from time PSV attacker Luuk de Jong popped up with the match - winner.
The Nigerian’s pair of goals against the champions took his tally for this season to 3, having opened his account in the 6 - 1 loss to Heracles on August 22.
Bartholomew Ogbeche and SC Cambuur will next be in action on Saturday against Utrecht in the Eredivisie.
