Chelsea Loanee Omeruo Rules Himself Out Of Action For Two Weeks?
Published: October 01, 2015
Kenneth Omeruo is optimistic that he could return to the pitch in the next two weeks after pulling his hamstring on Monday in the early minutes of the Super Lig clash against Rizespor.
As a result of that setback, he has been left out of the Nigeria squad for their upcoming friendlies against Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon in Belgium, but he has wished his international teammates success in both games, nonetheless.
“I will definitely miss being in the team and giving my best for both Club and country for this two weeks I will be out of action,” said Kenneth Omeruo in a statement he posted on social media on Tuesday morning.
“I want to wish the Eagles and my friends a successful outing. And thanks to my loyal fans for your messages. Happy Independence Day.”
A grade one hamstring strain, which Omeruo likely suffered, takes a minimum of three weeks to heal before the player can resume full training.
