Ahmed Musa Admits CSKA Moscow Lost Concentration Against PSV
Ahmed Musa has admitted that CSKA Moscow lost concentration in the second half of their Champions League game against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night because the players were carried away after scoring three goals before the intermission.

“The biggest factor was motivation. After the first half we had three goals and went a little bit relaxed , underestimated the situation. This affected the second half, ” Musa told CSKA Moscow’s official website, pfc - cska.com.

The Nigeria international acknowledged that manager Leonid Slutsky had advised the team not to take their feet off the pedal in the second half despite leading 3 - 0.

The 22 - year - old added : “He said we should not lose concentration , not to relax , play to the limit . But I think that when we came out in the second half ,  I think we were a bit relaxed.

“This made the opponent come back into the game and scored two goals . ”

So far this season, Ahmed Musa has notched up 9 goals from 16 appearances in all competitions.
