Fit - Again Asisat Oshoala Ends Season With Three Goals In Debut WSL Season

For the second game on the spin, Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala came off the bench for Liverpool in a Women’s Super League game as The Reds lost  4 - 2 to Bristol in their final league game.

In the penultimate round, the Super Falcons poster girl made her long - awaited return from injury, when she was involved in action for 13 minutes in Liverpool’s 4 - 0 loss to newly - crowned champions Chelsea.

On Sunday, manager Matt Beard gave Asisat Oshoala a run out in the final 28 minutes but she failed to increase her goal tally.

The current best player in Africa, according to CAF, hit target three times in her debut WSL season, scoring in games against Birmingham City, Manchester City and Arsenal.

Oshoala will be hoping to get back in the starting line - up on Wednesday when Liverpool face Brescia in the UEFA Champions League.
