Super Eagles Friendly Against Cameroon Has New Venue
Nigeria’s international friendly with Cameroon has been moved from Dendermonde to the Edmond Machtens Stadium, the home ground of FC Molenbeek Brussels Strombeek before the Second Division club was disbanded in 2014.

Prior to the change of venue, there had been reservations in some quarters about the suitability of Dendermonde hosting a high profile exhibition match involving two of the continent’s best footballing nations.

“After deliberations with the Belgian FA and confirmation, Edmond Machtens Stadium in Brussels will now host Nigeria Vs Cameroon, ” the Nigeria Football Federation informed in a statement published on its official Twitter page.

The Super Eagles tackle Democratic Republic of Congo in a warm - up on Thursday before squaring off against Cameroon in Brussels three days later, with the game kicking off at 2000 hours.

The capacity of the Edmond Machtens Stadium is 11,000.
