Vincent Enyeama Says He Was Stripped Naked By Hotel Security
Published: October 07, 2015
Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has spoken about his ordeal after clashing with Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, at the Hotel Verviers in Belgium on Tuesday evening.
It has come to light that the erstwhile skipper of the national team had a rift with Oliseh after he announced CSKA Moscow’s Ahmed Musa the new captain of the squad during a team meeting, contrary to earlier reports.
Enyeama has publicly revealed that he got a rough treatment from hotel security staff, who were acting on an order from Sunday Oliseh.
“After 13 years of national service, having this smile on my face and this passion in my heart. Through the billows, the waves of the ocean, the tears of defeat, the sound of rejoicing from victory chants,” Enyeama said on Instagram.
“Now the thought of being stripped naked and security agents throwing me out breaks me completely.
“I will take anything but not insult to my dead mother.”
Sunday Oliseh has handed a late call - up to SC Feirense glovesman Dele Alampasu following the non - issuance of visas to Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Femi Thomas and uncertainty surrounding whether or not Enyeama would feature in both games.
