Sunday Oliseh Hints Stakeholders Are Campaigning Against Him
Published: October 12, 2015
Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh has dedicated the Super Eagles 3 - 0 win over Cameroon to supporters of the national team, though he has suggested that some stakeholders are pursuing a vendetta against him.
Indeed, less than three months after taking over the managerial reins, his relationship with the media has been far from cordial after falling out with goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and his squad was unattractive in his first three matches as coach.
“I dedicate this scintillating victory of the Super Eagles over Cameroon to all ‘true’ Naija fans who irrespective of all the lies believed, ” Sunday Oliseh said.
Before the friendly against Cameroon, the Super Eagles had won once, drawn once and lost against DRC, scoring only 2 goals.
