The defensive midfielder was on the radar of Swedish team Hammarby prior to agreeing terms with the 27 - time Finnish champions.
“I have already signed a two - year deal with HJK Helsinki, I am so happy to be in a top team in Finland, ” says Vincent Onovo to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I have to play a little more in the Finnish league but everything will be good next time.”
The 19 - year - old has not been handed a jersey number yet but has demanded for the number 20 top.
