Vendsyssel FF Stopper Ayo Okosun Reacts After Scoring Second League Goal
Published: October 23, 2015Nigerian - German stopper Ayo Okosun was delighted to be among the scorers as Vendsyssel FF defeated Vejle BK 2 - 0 in the Danish First Division on Thursday.
The 22 - year - old stated that he was 100 percent sure that Vendsyssel FF will defeat the opponents before stepping out on the Bredbånd Nord Arena turf.
“We believed that we could win the game as we are playing well at the moment and are getting good results, also we are very strong when we play at home, ” Ayo Okosun told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Okosun arrived Vendsyssel FF as a free agent in July after a brief spell with FC Grosseto in Italy and has 11 starts to his name in the league this term.
“My own target for the season is just to get as many minutes as possible and to help the team moving forward.
“As for the club we have a team full of potential so our target is to keep moving forward and to finish as high as possible.
“If we continue like this we may go on to achieve important things by the end of this season,” the defensive all-rounder concluded.
