Macauley Chrisantus Involved In Row With AEK Athens Higher - Ups
The relationship between Macauley Chrisantus and AEK Athens higher - ups is far from cordial and there is a strong possibility that the former Golden Eaglets sensation could be offloaded by the Greek Super League side in the January transfer window.

Gazzetta.gr, making reference to Time Sports, says Chrisantus was upset that he didn’t make the roster for last weekend’s clash against Kalloni and expressed his displeasure in the dressing room.

The sporting director of AEK Athens, Branko Milovanovic, was furious that the attacker asked for an additional two - day leave from his teammates, a request that had been granted by coach Gus Poyet but wasn’t authorized by him.

Branko Milovanovic worked with Macauley Chrisantus at Las Palmas and the retired Serbian midfielder played a key role in his transfer to AEK Athens in February 2015.

The 25 - year - old has started only two games in the league after 13 rounds.
