Exclusive : Esperance In Talks With Akwa United Free - Kick Expert Namso Edo
Published: December 11, 2015Tunisian giants Esperance have set the wheels in motion for a January move for Akwa United goalscoring wing - back Nanso Edo.
The 21 - year - old has admitted that he is open to a move to the Blood and Gold but the North African team will have to thrash out a transfer fee with the Promise Keepers.
“I thank God for the opportunity, I have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, ” Namso Edo told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Esperance showed interest in me and they have spoken to my dad. It is now left for them to contact my club, maybe next week they will do that.
“I have not been recognized in Nigeria so I want to play outside Nigeria to get recognized.”
A departure from Akwa United has been on the cards for some time now but the Uyo team failed to sanction Namso Edo’s loan move to Enyimba before the start of last season.
The Mass Communication graduate of the University of Uyo has played nonstop at Akwa United for the past four years.
