Bartholomew Ogbeche was impressive in Cambuur’s 3 - 1 victory over NEC Nijmegen in the Eredivisie on matchday 16.

The former Nigeria international rounded off his effort with two goals at the Cambuurstadion, which took his tally to nine goals across all competitions this term.

Also on Saturday, Willem II played out a 1 -1 draw with ADO Den Haag, with ex Belgium youth international Funso Ojo working a 90 - minute shift for the team from Tilburg.

Tyronne Ebuehi, 19, was not in action for ADO Den Haag . The defender has been involved in four games this season.

Twente beat basement team De Graafschap 2 - 1 at home, with ex Flying Eagles dazzler Michael Olaitan working for 31 minutes in the first half before he was replaced.

On Sunday, Kingsley Ehizibue (PEC Zwolle), Abiola Dauda and Dominic Solanke ( both Vitesse) will be hoping to get playing opportunities when their respective teams complete their schedule before the winter break.
