Twenty Two Super Eagles Players Train In Abuja
The home - based Super Eagles have started preparations for the African Nations Championship holding in Rwanda next month.

Twenty two of the invited players trained this morning at the National Stadium in Abuja under the tutelage of coach Salisu Yusuf and ex Ajax Amsterdam winger Tijani Babangida.

It has been claimed that coach Sunday Oliseh is recovering from illness but he is expected to join the squad in South Africa for a training camp before the start of the tournament.

Nigeria Under 23 internationals Usman Mohammed and Bature Yaro have been given a short break before they join the get - together in Abuja next week.

The Super Eagles have been pitted against Niger, Tunisia and Guinea in Group C of the competition.
